Steve McKeever joined the Welltrain Full Bottle Club in October 2010, when he scored 100% on the Principles and Procedures portion of the IWCF exam, earning the prize of $250 for this accomplishment. Steve says, “35 years of practice finally makes perfect!”
Steve works for ConocoPhillips in Perth as a drilling engineer, rotating back and forth from his home in Anchorage, Alaska. He began his oilfield career 37 years ago, working as a roustabout on a rig on the North Slope of Alaska, and has since worked as a roughneck, a driller, a tool pusher, a completion tool hand, a roughneck school instructor, a salesman / service hand for Hydril Company, and a civil engineer. He has been with ConocoPhillips for 10 years, working as a drilling engineer and drilling superintendent. He is currently helping with the planning of an appraisal drilling campaign in the Browse Basin, offshore Australia.
When he’s not working, Steve enjoys being active in the out of doors. He enjoys mountain biking, hiking, trail running and skiing. He proudly reports that he owns more pairs of skis than shoes.

Daniel Trim is the latest addition to the Welltrain Full Bottle Club, receiving a prize of $250 for a perfect 100% score on his IWCF Well Control Principles & Procedures exam.
Engaged to marry next year, Daniel has been working with Italian integrated oil and gas company Eni, since completing mechanical engineering studies at Curtin University in 2001.

Eni are currently drilling with the Transocean Legend in the Timor Sea and will soon have the Saipem 1000 drill ship as well.
In his 'spare time' Daniel plays soccer (football!) in the local Perth premier division for the Western Knights, although his legs will be up on K-Revs soon and he'll have to revert to playing golf.
